For students more prepared to the future: new agreement with schools for education, training and culture

New opportunities of education and culture for young people, projects which enrich the school training plan, and exchanges with other European countries. These points are the focus of the Agreement signed on Monday June 26th between the Province of Livorno, Local Minister to Education, the company Provincia di Livorno Sviluppo and the superior schools of the province. The objective is to enrich the tools luggage of the students, making them more prepared to face the labour market. The agreement also is based on the work in synergy, in order to attract new resources and become the territory more competitive. The aim is to pick up the offered chances at European level by the program " Education and training 2010", which promote interventions of training for adults, continuous training, system reinforcement of tools and mobility between students. The agreement, signed by the Local Minister to Education Monica Giuntini, by the President of Provincia di Livorno Sviluppo Paolo Nanni and by the seventeen school managers, provides for a constant updating service on the training opportunities, information, research and exchanges at European, national and regional levels, which the Local Administration ensures through Provincia di Livorno Sviluppo. The company will formulate with the schools projects proposal on the calls for projects and on the programmes about education, training, young people and culture, engaging in the management and in didactic and cultural organization, besides in the administrative and accounting management according to the law. The aim is to create a system of network which, by the information about the new chances, provides territory development opportunities.
