OTIG (Offerta Turistica Integrata di Genere).
Financed by the Tuscan region in the ROP Ob. 3 Measure D1 with the aim of re-qualifying tour operators along the Tuscan coast. This project includes continuous training of staff in-coming services and aims at providing further qualification in the tourist industry to the emerging female market. Research on coastal tourism highlighted the needs of these travellers, new training courses provide qualifications for businessmen and operators in the sectors in the provinces of Livorno, Pisa, Lucca e Massa Carrara. These practices were tested in 15 pilot structures in the four provinces and were supported by QMS procedures, exchanges with similar businesses abroad and the dissemination of the results. This project was carried out in partnership with Cescot Livorno and Itinera Formazione, and with the support of: Provincia di Livorno, APT Costa degli Etruschi, the Provincia di Livorno Commission for Equal Opportunities, the provincial Councillor for Equal Opportunities of Livorno and Lucca, Confesercenti di Livorno, Confesercenti regionale Toscana.
