Provincia di Livorno Sviluppo is a limited company entirely owned by the Provincia di Livorno, and set up on 31.05.2000.
The company's mission statement is:
- in its role as the stakeholder's key instrument player of the stakeholder Provincia di Livorno Sviluppo is responsible for generate tools to help economic development for the implementation of regional, national and EC projects.
- the promotion of initiatives from both the public and private sector in support of employment, stimulation of the economy and marketing as well as providing support for policies directed at sustainable innovation at local level.
It is involved in the following:
- Regional, National And EC Projects.
Here it researches and analyses the opportunities made available by EC programmes (European Social Fund and the Regional Operational Programmes - ROP). Presentation, planning, management and accounting of projects to help the development and employment in the profits in partnership with the Provincia di Livorno and/or other bodies. The company has been authorised for auxiliary payments by the Tuscan Region for the PIC INTERREG IIIA programme and has been an accredited training agency since 2003 in the areas of obligatory education, further education and training and continuous training;
- Development and marketing.
Initiatives for local development, area marketing, promoting the province and its products, the organisation of events which publicise the province in Italy and abroad. The company also supplies information services to attract investment for the province of Livorno;
